In today's society, stress has become a global health issue affecting millions of
people worldwide, and Mexico is a country where its inhabitants tend to experience
this type of health problem. Its impacts can be detrimental both physically and
mentally, and early identification and proper management are crucial for individual
well-being. The focus of this project is the development of an advanced biomedical
signal monitoring system designed to accurately and effectively measure the level
of stress in individuals. Stress, a natural response of the body to challenging
situations, can manifest in various ways and vary significantly from person to person.
Traditionally, its measurement has relied on subjective questionnaires or clinical
interviews, which can be inaccurate and heavily dependent on the individual's
perception. In contrast, an approach based on biomedical signals offers a more
objective and quantitative assessment. The proposed system will employ a variety
of non-invasive sensors, including one developed by us to detect heart rate and a
temperature sensor to measure skin temperature. We will also rely on specific
questions to determine whether it is stress or another situation.
Materials:
1- The pcb
2- A CNY70 (this is connected to terminal block x1, where it says signal is the negative pin of the Ir)
3- A ds18b20 temperature sensor
Here is a video of how it works:
